Birhtday part 2

Lilla enjoyed a feast of Sloppy Joe and mashed potatoes......yum. There were some broccoli sprigs in there too.
I love bread.....thanks mom and dad.
Lilla's new toy....a car/walking toy from Chris and Melissa.
Proud papa and happy 1 year old, all is good.....until....

We ordered some chocolate cake at the restaurant but it was too late to eat it last night, so we saved it for today. As you can tell, Lilla did eat some of it, and despite the sad face, she did enjoy it, however, she had just hit herself with a fork on the side of the head....poor thing. Usually she wouldn't start a melt down (because she BARELY grazed her forehead) but she also got her one year shots today, so you gotta feel for the girl. Here's to a better day tomorrow.

This baloon is pretty cool.
The balloon sadly got a hole in it, so we took turns sounding like munchkins.

Lilla was smart and got in a good snooze before the commotion of the weekend.
Since everyone was in town and it was the weekend before Avery's birthday, we had a party. A pizza party, no less. What five year doesn't love a pizza party.
Lilla's semi-new talent......climbing up stairs. Not climbing down, but we'll work on it. It's her favorite to be chased by someone too, Rebecca was happy to oblige.
Johna's exact words were "Ewwww, Ewwww". I don't think he likes the sticky angel food frosting.

The baloon was big with Lilla.

Brushing Bailey's Teeth

I decided to brush Bailey's teeth and Lilla wasn't to sure what that was about....hence the quizzical look on her face.
Bailey really likes the taste of the chicken flavored tooth paste. Yum.

Queen Bailey and her clean teeth. I know dorky....but Bailey has to be something for Halloween and John calls her Queen....which make me?

Dinner

We had some friends over for dinner, including Liam. This is Lilla showing him how to play with his toys.
She was petting him like she pets Bailey.
